Corina Gallegos is the Program Manager for Supplier Development and
Training at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She manages the supplier development
programs and training for the Office of Advocacy and Small Business Development. She is responsible for
providing supplier development programs, activities, and training.
Ms. Gallegos has been at Sandia
National Laboratories for over fifteen years. Her background includes significant experience in supplier
development, supplier diversity, contracting, education/training, facilitation, project management, and
human resources disciplines.
Corina currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Institute for Supply
Management's Minority and Women Business Development Group. She has served on the Board for three years
and has led the Board's efforts in strategic planning for the last two years. Other memberships include:
National Association of Purchasing Management-New Mexico, American Society for Training and Development,
International Association of Facilitators, Leadership Albuquerque, Albuquerque Executive Forum on Diversity,
Rio Grande Minority Purchasing Council, Greater Albuquerque Small and Growing Business Committee,
Greater Albuquerque Business Growth and Development Committee, Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce S
mall Business Committee, Small Business Administration Steering Committee.
Ms. Gallegos has been
recognized often for her leadership and support of the small, minority, and woman-owned business community.
Her awards include: the Charles J. McDonald Minority Business Advocate Award from the Institute for Supply
Management-Minority and Women Business Development Group, the Rio Grande Minority Purchasing Council
Government Advocate of the Year Award, the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce Achievement Award, and a
Corporate Employee Recognition Award for her work as a small business advocate.
Ms. Gallegos has a
Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Business Administration. |
