| Gwendolyn F. Turner is Director Worldwide Supplier Diversity at Pfizer Incorporated, the world's largest pharmaceutical company. Gwendolyn is responsible for the procurement
of goods and services from Women and Minority businesses. Supplier Diversity at Pfizer includes developing
inclusive strategic sourcing plans, external advocacy, and colleague/supplier training and education. The primary
accountability for Gwendolyn's role encompasses strengthening Pfizer's partnerships with Minority and Women
Businesses as a value added asset. She currently serves as the leader of the Pfizer Supplier Diversity
Manufacturing Advocate Team, which seeks to expand Supplier Diversity to each Pfizer plant location. She
also serves as the corporate expert to Pfizer's three procurement organizations concerning all aspects of
Supplier Diversity. Gwendolyn is an integral change agent that guides Pfizer's efforts by obtaining the
support or Senior Management and Pfizer colleagues. Prior to joining Pfizer, Gwendolyn implemented a Supplier
Diversity program at Kellogg Company. Gwendolyn received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Southern Illinois
University at Carbondale. She serves on the board of directors for the Connecticut Minority Supplier Development
Council and the Women Presidents Educational Organization as well as the Executive Planning Committee for the
Women's Business Enterprise National Council. She is also actively involved in several advocacy organizations
and industry groups. |
